As I said...

There has not been a single documented case of a proven innocent being executed in this country in the past 50 years.

The impetus for finding one is huge. There are hundreds of thousands of people who devote their lives to getting rid of the death penalty and EVERY case has been thoroughly examined. If you don't think so, you are deluding yourself.

Not quite sure where you're coming from, I was asking Bill for proof that the death penalty acts as a deterrent. So far, he has presented none. I am not in favor of the death penalty.
