What a sophomoric PR today. Looking more like US-type self-promotion.

OXiGENE Completes Transition to Watertown, MA Offices
WATERTOWN, Mass., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- OXiGENE, Inc. (Nasdaq: OXGN, SSE: OXGN) announced today the completion of the transition of its scientific, administrative and financial functions to the Company's Watertown, MA offices. As part of the move, OXiGENE chairman and CEO, Bjorn Nordenvall, M.D., Ph.D., has now relocated to the Watertown offices from Sweden. This move completes a strategic plan announced last October that addresses the continuing growth of the Company as a result of its success in research, discovery and ongoing clinical trials.

``We believe this transition will allow us to raise OXiGENE's profile in the U.S.,'' said Dr. Nordenvall. ``We already enjoy a healthy profile in the European pharmaceutical community, and believe this move will help us gain the same level of recognition in the U.S. pharmaceutical arena. In addition, this move allows management to develop broader relationships within the U.S. investment community and increase our visibility in the global capital markets.''
