Yes it was about power.
His power attracts women.
We could re-hash the entire Monica thang, but it would be a hassle and no change in either of our opinions would probably result, a concept that seems to be lost recently on this thread.

The people of Vermont are quite angry with Jeffords and his his extreme opportunism.

In the LT, the GOP is stronger w/o him. Jeffords hurt the party greatly in Vermont and to a lesser extent nationally.
