Oh no, our injured baby bunny died. Got to go dig a grave.

I was so hoping the little thing would make it through this day, then I think the little fella would have survived.

". I had this notion that you'd been holding onto those shorts a lot longer."

That's probably because I have been swing trading a few short positions lately. Perhaps you thought it was the same positions that had been kept open the whole time. I've actually been taking small profits here & there, then reloaded when they ran up again.

Yesterday was a surprise though........ My DD, TA, FA, told me this economic news would take the market down, but we know that never happened........ I held my positions as I felt the rally had nothing to sustain it...... got most of it back today........ still holding in here.

"You mentioned perfect timing. I used to beat myself up over that, remembering I'm my own worst critic."

I thought that comment would get a response. That's why I put it in "quotes". I do have a tendency to try to get it all. When it turned out I left $$ on the table, I'd beat myself up something terrible over it too. That attitude has cost me dearly in the past as well. Holding out for the last penny has actually kept me in a trade until I had to take a loss. DOOH!

I'm trying to learn from my mistakes. My goal now is trying to take a bite out of the middle, sort of what you explained you do in your post. However, if the market breaks down, I'll hold a bit longer since I have some targets to shoot for - resistance levels - open gaps, etc. Same goes for an upside break out. I think I can ride those longer & feel safe.

Thanks again for your thoughts RR. It's good to listen to a successful investor/trader with experience.
