*Intraday's STALK LIST* for Thursday, June 7, 2001 Today showed the power of using the STALK LIST. Set your alerts and be READY to strike! Soon we'll be displaying bar charts intraday (on our servers) which will show members in real-time how far above or below the alert level each stock in the list is. Even in the pre-market session, where half a dozen of our Biotechs triggered today. Our developers are coming along well with that highly useful graphical feature! We suggest that Intraday traders familiarize with and become proficient at the in's and out's of trading off of the 'stalk list' now, while the markets are choppy. When a trending market environment returns, the daily stalk list will become even more useful, allowing us to POUNCE stocks BEFORE they trend on the day as one of the first on top of the intraday or swing trend. Using that with our breakeven/2:1 profit taking strategy (see the SI thread for details) is simply a terrific combination. Biotech Short Below 70.25 with at target of 68.00 WMT Walmart Retail Short Below 50.50 with stop at 51.30 and target of 48.70 BKS Barnes & Nobel Retail Short below 35.70 or on a gap up on light volume below 36.60 CAT Catapillar HeavyEquip Short below 54.44. This puppy broke it's uptrend, formed a double top and is a great SWING Trade due for a major Fibo Retracement to 51.50 DD Dupont Chemical Short Below 46.00. This dog of the dow will see 45 and then 43.75 in a hurry. Has tested rising 20 ma 8 days in a row, had a failed breakout today and closed near the low of the day at the rising 20 ma. This is compelling and may be a great swing trade. DELL Dell Comp. Computer Short Below 25.10. If this thing gets below 24.50, it could go retest it's lows of December bec of head & shoulders pattern it has formed over 2 mos. HWP Hewlett Packard Computer Short Below 28.60. We are already short, in case you missed it however this one may just gap down before we can get short. Next stop 27.00 to fill the gap. If you read the news between the lines today, HWP is very likely to warn/miss big-time for the summer quarter (discussed on our SI thread today). RD Royal Dutch Oil Below 60.15 (200 ma on 60 min chart) or below 59.80 (200ma on daily chart) TX Texaco Oil Below 71.90 (200ma on 15 min chart) XOM Exxon Mobil Oil Below 89.22 (200 ma on 15 mn) Target 88.50 SUN Sunoco Oil Below 39.75 (200 ma on 60 min) HAL Halliburton Oil Svc Below 44.70. Might as well just short the whole d___ Oil Sector in general. whole thing about to collapse. We would also short the oils on a light gap up. This is a breakout play. Just broke a triple top stretching back 3 mos. THC Tenent health care Healthcare Long above 48 as long as volume is strong. This is a breakout play. Stock just broke to all time high on strong volume through a double top. ================
