Thanks for admitting that this question is quite simple and trivial. Please, inform the thread why VZ Wireless must have a dual mode, i.e. CDMA2000/WCDMA ASIC.

Evidently, this "simple" question is quite troublesome to yourself.

Because VZ is going 1XRTT. If it goes WCDMA, it will need dual mode chips. How trivial (or wrong) is that, Oh Jeddi Master?

But VZ's never going to go WCDMA so it's a tempest in a teapot.
