Have any of you looked at the new FAS-133 rule, end of year marked to market holdings of corporations and
how this may affect their reported income(?) I am not an accountant and wish for someone to shed some
light on this to use as another tool for trading.

Holland...so funny you should mention this strategy as I just arrived at the same thinking today while studying the option premiums...in fact I was thinking of selling a Jul70 on cien (underlying at 61.50)...the premiums are 3.30 -- if I get called out I would be very happy...but it can't be this easy...can it?

Does anyone know of an online broker who allows naked puts in an IRA account? My current broker allows covered calls, but nothing naked. Since naked puts are equivalent to covered calls, I'm curious if there are brokers who allow them. Thanks!
