Thanks for the response to this "simple" and "trivial" question.

In re Nexwave, that is still in bankruptcy court, correct? An answer will probably come about in the next 10 years after the appeals process. By then, everyone will be talking about 5G or 6G. <g>

One thing that I never understood was when VOD took over Air Touch, why on earth did they give majority ownership of ATI/VZ to VZ. Verizon clearly dropped the ball. I remember their takeover bid and how VZ execs (then fomerly Bell Atlantic) were bragging how they (BA) is cheap and they don't pay premiums. What did they expect with a competing offer from VOD.

oh well.

I assume that VOD wants "seemless roaming" across NA and Europe. They shouldn't have given majority control to BA/VZ.
