How ridiculous. People want handouts for living their life the way they choose.
Plenty of people smoke their whole lives without ill effect: it can't be a secret to anyone that smoking might hurt them...this liability of product makers when consumers voluntarily use their products is just another sign of a society that will not take responsibility for its acts.
