Hi Betty, Remember a while ago when all the Shorts showed up? Here's what they managed to do: GENE DATE SHARES SHORT DAILY VOLUME DAYS TO COVER 06/01 1,841,030 3,192,204 0.58 05/01 226,637 83,247 2.72 04/01 308,087 165,288 1.86 03/01 599,787 137,741 4.35 02/01 617,072 377,598 1.63 01/01 676,048 566,672 1.19 June shows GENE at a 12 month high in volume and in Short sales. It shows GENE as being 4th of all NASDAQ stocks in percent increase in Short sales. Volume has returned to more normal levels now, so I wonder if they've covered or not. Much of that bubble in volume was on the price rise in one day, but the second day's volume was huge and to the downside slightly. siliconinvestor.com Best regards, Tom
