Where's Tiger PAW ? COUNT THE VOTES !!!!

Democratic Counties Stiff Black Voters

A computer analysis by the Washington Post shows that "the more black and Democratic a precinct, the more likely it was to suffer high rates of invalidated votes." Three of the four counties singled out as having the most voting "irregularities" – Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward – have election boards dominated by Democrats.

The Republican Party of Florida Chairman Al Cardenas Tuesday denounced the report, calling it a sad day for "civil rights" activists in America.

"The report is nothing more than a partisan hatchet job," he said. "As a member of the Hispanic community, I am outraged that an organization that is supposed to look out for the interests of minorities would allow itself to be used to push a partisan political agenda."

Cardenas added, "By allowing the report to be written without any input from members whose view may have differed, Ms. Berry disenfranchised at least two members of the commission."

Cardenas called for an investigation of the Civil Rights Commission into why the report was "kept secret" from some members, and was eventually leaked to the media.

"The whole thing smells like a kettle of fish," he said.

Dr. Dorsey Miller, chairman of the Florida Black Republican Council, said the commission "lost some of its luster today."

"It's supposed to be a nonpartisan commission that's fair for all ethnic and racial groups in this country.

"The public statements by Commission Chairman Mary Frances Berry, prior to the conclusion of its investigation, made it clear the investigation was not going to be objective because minds were already made up," Miller said.
