Chu I think it would be a good idea for you two to make contact, to discuss possible cooperation, as it strikes me that there could be some degree of symbiosis between your respective business plans, in both cross-promotion, a/k/a attracting clients, and in serving those clients well ... so please permit me to introduce you to each other - Claude - Toby Chu heads up Capital Alliance Group, of which the main focus lately is its subsidiary SEGlobal which is setting up a planet-wide trading system of broker alliances, and recently introduced direct access US trading that works fast over low bandwidth ... due to what i see as a brilliant plan of structure of this system, with its inherent motivations of each party involved to support the whole, i think it stands an excellent chance of doing well ... of course the system will need a common denominator currency, and of course it now uses the US dollar as that common currency ... an alternative could be a good thing, and electronic gold-grammes could provide that alternative, possibly a very popular one in places where people have learned from experience to be cautious with the various paper monies ... so i think SEG should consider accepting gold-grammes and prominently displaying on their site the fact that they do, and that it would be worth your while, Claude, to speak to T.C. about the idea. Here's the main CAG site - cag-global.com Company phone number - 604.871.99.09 ... i'll PM you with TC's extension Mr Chu - i've come to know CC fairly well, only through these SI threads but much comes out here - he is like yourself a straight-up guy and pretty smart, and like yourself he has going a project which i think worthy of interest - goldcurrencies.ca .... could this fit in with the SEG setup? ... i think it might, and it just might fit in really well ... Claude is not tied down to one form of electronic gold, but has a selection, and since the concept is in fairly early stages relative advantages and disadvantages of each form will be coming apparent as things develop, well Claude is just the guy to learn the details from, imho .... i haven't tried electronic gold yet but do intend to, and soon ... seems to me a concept worthy of promotion if it is efficient ... you two could maybe come up with some mutually beneficial cooperation on this? ... there will be SEG clients who like the idea, i think ... Claude has contact info on his site above, also he has another site - ormetal.com Pardon me if this is overly presumptuous, or a bad idea ... but hey, a phone call or two, an email exchange - not a big cost to find out, eh .... cheers
