Charles, I do notknow how much qual work has been done already by various OEMs, but it is said that a year is needed to do this work, just to make sure they will run for a while using accelerated aging tests at elevated temperatures to cause failures and then project back to the expected regime and see if it lasts 'x' years. The white box crowd will infill the area and provide impetus to the majors to adopt. Twas known it would be a long haul....probably that is why they took a while to relase it so they were sure it was bug free. Bill
