Victims of your own stupidity, lack of appropriate planning, adherence to ridiculous policies ( you want to consume, you just don't want to allow production in your state), etc. By the way, we have a surplus of energy in Texas, and none of the supposed problems Californians concocted in their minds as the byproduct of production.

AMD is sure UP so far today. . . Looking good!

Sam,
People in other States don't give a sheet about Calif's energy problems. . .
. . . they don't think it will hurt them too. . .
. . . it's too bad. . . an expensive way to say "I told you so" after the fact.

I got a phone call yesterday from the Republican party (at least that's what they said). . .
(maybe they read SI posts too. . .??)
They said that they were trying to get Gray Davis replaced with a Republican because he was trying to increase our Electricity rates. . . They wanted my support to help them make it happen.
I asked her a simple question. . . "If we don't pay for it, who will?"
She could not answer my question. . . she kept going around in circles trying to convince me that what Gray Davis was wrong. . . I had to ask the question about 3-4 times before she gave up & told me to have a nice day!
I told her that I was willing to pay a little more if it would help us get out of the mess. . . She had a hard time understanding that! . . . (a real one-minded lame brain!)

Later, I wish I had thought of mentioning to her that Pete Wilson, a Republican, was Governor when this whole thing started. . . Now, they're trying to blame Gray Davis for the problem. . . Is that SICK or what?!

Joe
