Why is this person still a member ? Why does SI allow someone like this to spew this kind of garbage ? Why is a hateful person likes this allowed to attack decent people ?

Dr. Thomas Carr you are a fraud.. You don't have any of the character of a solid religious person. You reek, really reek of averice, hubris, envy.. Where is that accepted in religion.. are you Tim Luke? Will you be willing to be part of an expose on SI posters and their real identities? That would mean revealing yourself totally and allow cameramen to visit you and take photographs.. Let me know if you want to be included.. Of course we know your real name is Dr. Thomas Carr.. why the Dr.. is that a need to feel important? Where did you get your doctorate? Can you post at least a photocopy? What about this trading system? Are you offering it for sale? How many times have you been turned down? I remember someone emailed me about one lone article mentioning you in a publication a number of years ago... I guess you thought you weould be launched then, but obviously you weren't. Can you care to give us an idea of the frustrations in not realizing your dream?

Check out this decent person and his posts in the last few weeks. He is a fraud and let him prove he is a man of religin. You are all frauds, heck I'm a fraud too, but I don't pretend to have a PHD and in my 62 years I HAVE NEVER met a man with religious training that acts and posts like Mr. Carr. So we are all varying degrees of fraud, and this Mr. Carr is just a little more fraudian than us (was that a Fraudian slip?) So if I can't call him a fraud, then explain how come on SI people can go around with names like bob and pretend to be something they are not. In my book that is fraudulent. And if i'm penalized for calling a spade a spade (no pun intended), then everyone should be suspended since all of you (myself included ) are all frauds. Actually the only ones that seem not to be frauds are the very same people that are attacked. I might go on about Mr. Olson, but I don't really think he is a fraud, just not a good money maker for himself and definitely not for others.
I don't think Teresa Lo is a fraud, just a little overzealous about hyping her thread. Heck I don't even think Anthony is a fraud... he never claimed to be anything and he certainly isn't. I won't mention anyone else because then there will be 23 posts attacking me (like I care)

<<it appears Market Gems is one of the
Scams you typically would want to fight against>> that's a pretty heavy accusation.. I hope you have a good lawyer. I would love to have the contingency fee on prosecuting the dopes on SI who set themselves for lawsuits. Basically anyone with a private site should not be on SI.. I agree. GEt off SI, they are not for you. This is land of the losers, the wannabes, the nobodies who never made it. Those that make it should leave.. they are only opening themselves up to the envy of these losers. Why they stay I don't know. The only thing these losers have ever won was a little stint on the Hot Subjects area. They love it so much they open news threads daily and preen on this honor. But threads that reach this list should be topic oriented or if they are coffee house topics then at least they should be pleasant and not disgusting. They reached this list only because they are new.. once the newness wears off they drop to zero, but then they open a new one and once again, they are important.. This is the story of these people.. and these are their bland, and uninspiring accomplishments. Sorry they don't look good on a resume.
... The only scam I've seen so far has been the bashing against the site by probably everyone who has spent the last 4 years cussing and attacking on SI and let the best years of their lives go by. So everyone who says stuff like this.. and I said something like that about Mr. Carr.. should be made to back up their statements.. not with vague mentioning of e-mail.. Who would send an email to a guppy? or a real scam artist, and its is SO SO SO obvious the scam artists are all on this thread.. like nefarious shadows.. sucking the life out of SI.

Meanwhile these other characters are parading around SI.. and causing disaster after disaster. This insanity must be stopped.. There should really be some hefty law suits coming out here.

ROFL. I wonder why this thread is allowed to exist. They seem to be so protective of the most bookmarked poster.
You should read that blurb on the trading site about the most bookmarked poster of SI. I surely wouldn't want to direct customers to the thread with all of the thread header changes during the decompensation weekend.

Note: The above posts caught my attention because I have the Welcome to SI thread bookmarked. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the referenced situation could provide a better perspective. [Bolding added for emphasis]

Investor rage, corporate rage

There's a lot of rage out there. That's where these stupid message board lawsuits come from. It only happens with companies who are not doing well with depressed share price. Investors are angry at the company. They're angry at any poster who posts negatively, especially when it's honest. They don't want to think of themselves as idiot investors so they must take it out on negative posters and managment. They encourage management to sue the negative posters. They scream on the message boards "Mr. CEO, sue these people, these "paid bashers," "roving band of mad shorters!" Management is also upset at the loss in share value and would love to direct the negative energy away from themselves and onto the negative posters. "They have caused your loss in value, the posters, not the company." So in order to appease the shareholders and direct attention away from themselves, they sue the negative posts to try and shut them up. They don't like these posters posting their mistakes, shortcomings... These are short sighted ceo's.

Of course the lawsuits have the opposite effect. Everyone with half a brain knows that the only people who sue negative posters are desperate ceo's of desperate companies. Suing posters is corporate suicide. It appeases the shareholders for a few minutes when they can scream on teh message boards "WE ARE SUING YOU!" Then of course the company loses the case and the now pissed off negative posters come back with a vengeance. That is how some of the best scam busters were made. They were burned on a stock, posted negatively, were sued by the ceo, did tons more research on the company and outed all the dirty laundry of the company. Companies that sue posters have TONS of dirty laundry which is why they sue posters, to shut them up.
