Yep, sounds like it, HG48. Almost all our animals, dogs/cats, have come to us. They've shown up on the door step needing help, wandered up through the woods, whatever. We've had one big problem with the two cats we have now exactly like what you are describing. They tolerate each other at a minimum. Three? You would have your hands full wouldn't ya. We've never turned an animal away that has wandered up. RR

Horsegirl, if you need a barn kitten, let me know. By the way, We had to have my daughter's old retired school horse's teeth mechanically floated today. The place where she takes riding lessons wanted to retire the old guy (he's 28) so we took him. He was quite the show horse in his day. For the past three years he's been teaching kids how to ride. Now, he has a chance to live out his last years on pasture! And he gets a little girl to hug him, bring him carrots and ride him around the ring a little. We noticed that he would dribble his carrots some, so we called the vet. Turns out his teeth have been long neglected, he's missing a few, and the ones he still has have sharp points. Manual floating wouldn't help. So we had to sedate him to really be able to get in there to round them off. He'll be sore for a day or two, but he'll be able to eat better! Just lookin' out for my critters! Adairm
