XMSR LAUNCHES NATIONAL SERVICE TOMORROW

XM Satellite launches its service nationwide
CHICAGO, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Satellite radio broadcaster XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (NasdaqNM:XMSR - news) on Monday said it has launched its service nationwide.

The company, which aims to provide listeners with 100 channels of digital-quality radio service, first introduced its service in San Diego and Dallas on Sept. 25.

XM Satellite said radios will be available through retailers including Best Buy, Circuit City, RadioShack and Good Guys.

Rival Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (NasdaqNM:SIRI - news) is expected to provide an update on its plans to launch its service on Wednesday.

Shares of XM Satellite rose 5 cents to $6.95 and shares of Sirius Satellite rose 13 cents, or 4.6 percent, at $2.93 on Nasdaq in afternoon trade.

I had the XM Radio installed in my car yesterday and it's really fantastic!!!!

The CD quality sound is terrific and the choice of 100 stations is great. The stock is starting to move up.
