the ene, you can see the effect of the stop loss order being hit below 50.

that's why i stressed mental stop. thus it's not a matter of putting stops 1/8 or 1/4 below round numbers. sometimes a lot more buffer.

regardless, stopped out b/c my momo signal went sell

that is my problem with using PRICE alone in TA. My mom said "ohh.. nazdaq up to this XXXX.XXXX level again. Why we didnt buy?"

But from a (internal) momentum, one can clearly see that this 2nd rally internally was WEAKER.

Also notice that the SPX did not even manage to even TOUCH the nov '00 trendline as the NDX did.
