I like to keep an eye on Axcelis (former Eaton implant division), as AMAT thinks they can gain market share at their expense. Here is MSDW's take on ACLS. Does anyone have a notion of how well AMAT is penetrating the implant market?

Axcelis (ACLS-$16-SB-V) New Products: Not Just an Implant Co. Anymore J. Deahna/S. Pelayo

ACLS recently introduced a new 300mm resist strip tool. We believe ACLS continues to gain momentum for 300mm strip tools.
Additionally, ACLS announced a joint development agreement with Dow Corning. This could potentially provide a large market for ACLS's photostabilization technology.
ACLS shares are currently trading at 2.2x trailing sales. We continue to believe that ACLS shares are reasonably valued and investor should build position by the Aug "New Products: Not Just an Implant Co. Anymore" timeframe.

Tito, I have been reading this thread for a few years now and following your Yo-Yo idea.

Year to date one of my accounts is up over 48%. Some of this is due to the basic price of the stock going up YTD.
I have been using your Yo-Yo idea and YDT this has resulted in 24% return on 23 trades. This is not including the stock price going up.

This has worked well for me during this side ways activities we have been in YTD.

Thanks for your ideas.

Stan

ST Trading:

I was a quiet last week for me. I will be taking my 10 year old daughter to Moscow for three days and then from there to India for 2 weeks. It is going to be fun. That's what life is all about. I will be away from Jun 16- July 7. So here is what I did this morning.

Account A: Wrote covered call nvls July 50 for $7.90, Nvls July 55 for $5.10; lltc july 50 for $7.20, Amat july 50 for $7.30; Mxim June 55 for $2.50. This will give me money for my trip and plenty left over.

Account B: (trading) bought sunw, itwo for trading.

Two month score: The short term trading (B) and covered call longer term account are even after two months. Both are approximately up 25% from April 1.

This the first time I have held shares for more than a month. May be I am turning in to a long term trader as opposed to a short term trader. Nah!!! I am at heart a short term trader.

I will monitor the thread this week but then gone vacationing and be back after July 7. Good luck to all.
