I tend to agree that as long as there's nothing substantive out of management then VLNC the stock will probably track the NAZ. Even so, it's a positive indicator that VLNC managed to stay above $7. You could be forgiven for thinking that what has been going on is a consolidation, filling the gap phase, on the pullback from $10 to $7.

Now I see the stocks volume is picking up, the NAZ has been moving ahead with all those talking heads making warm & fuzzy noises about it, and VLNC's price is moving ahead, too.

So let me go out on the proverbial limb and make a prediction. As long as the NAZ continues as is, then under this impetus as well as anticipation of the conference call me thinks VLNC could move back up and test that $10 ceiling early next week. Hmmmmm.....I had sold my traders block at my target of ~$8.5. Hmmmm.....I might buy it back on any dip tomorrow, just to play the possible run to $10. ;-) Whether or not it gets beyond that point is strictly up to the market and managements guidance.

Well, so far it's a case of being wrong and right all at the same time. That is, the market in general is moving south so if'n VLNC was tracking true with it then it should have also moved south. But it's doing its inverse "thang." At least......so far. ;-)

There isn't really all that much activity going on with VLNC, either from a buying or selling standpoint. But such as there is appears to be floating the equity higher with HRZG and NITE, for example, supporting the buy side. Beyond that there's not much more than onesies and twosies from a buy/sell standpoint. Except between $9.20 and $9.5 where various players have drawn a ~10K share sell side stand.

Bottom line? The equity didn't hit my buy-in target before it turned north, so I'm just holding my core position and watching it carefully to see where to from here. Let's see how it plays out....
