Re: I wouldn't think the answer would be too hard to figure out. As an AMD shareholder, your collective fate is determined almost exclusively by the actions and achievements of Intel. No matter what AMD does, it's possible that Intel could do it better and AMD would be SOL.
The opposite is not even close to true. No matter what AMD does, Intel is still probably effected more by the economy, industry growth, and other factors then by AMD. Look at the year the athlon came out, if AMD wasn't outperforming Intel with the chip they'd probably have gone bankrupt, however, even though they were outperforming them, Intel stock still did well until the SOXX crashed and the pc growth went into the toliet.


I can understand why AMD shareholders keep a close eye on the tech stuff and even the share prices. But there is no magic that I can see in crossovers. Intel share prices have been so pathetic in recent months, that crossing over it shouldn't make anybody feel very good.
