for the moment the computers are there just to write it (g). There's something called "a stopping problem" and next to it the Turing's theorem. Stopping problem: programs have jobs to do and when they're finished, they should stop. Q: can I have a program X check out program Y, to find out if it will do the job and then stop. A: there's nothing like a program X - this answer is in essence the Turing's theorem. Corrollary: cant have programs write programs. Q: how come humans as exist and can talk about it and laugh over it? Divine intervention or (identical) leave it to the evolution and time to do that for you. dj
