I use msn at work and have no problems with maintaining a connection. I do not use their software to connect but it seems like I remember somewhere within options or preferences there was a page to set how often msn would check for activity before dropping your connection.

hi lamar

i don't have msn, so i'm sorry i can't help.

if you are having a prob with staying connected, i recall seeing more than a few shareware and freeware programs that combat that mean old aol practice of dumping users.

do you want to try to look for something like that? is this a serious, on-going prob? or are you just raging against the machine? <g3> let us know.

and it's always an honor when the thread originator drops by for a visit!

:)
