My favorite player of all time is Pete Maravich. I saw him once while he was playing for LSU. What a show! I think that there are two distinct ways of looking at the game (any game, really), i.e., skill vs. brawn. Every sport has had brilliant examples of each: Rod Laver and Ivan Lendl; Shaq and Pete Maravich or Bill Russell, etc., etc. Both manners of play appeal to different personalities for different reasons. They both put points on the board. De gustibus, non disputandum est.
