UPS is going down the tubes.

They ended up doing right by me. I'm composing this message on my new toy. I called and fussed at them and they had the guy re-deliver it. I got it about an hour after the first attempt. The guy swore he rang my doorbell but he couldn't have. He was really cute in his short pants so I forgave him.

This is my first notebook computer. I feel like a real rookie trying to work this touchpad. I'm not yet ready to give up and connect a mouse though.

A few years ago they started using fewer and fewer full time employees to save money and benefits. But they've paid a high price for it. Ten years ago we used to insist that all packages come UPS. Now we insist they come PO.

I think the PO is even worse but at least it is cheaper.
