Mooney, you or anyone keeping track of how many "one time charges" for restructuring COMS has taken the past few years?
I lost track.

This, combined with one-time charges related to 3Com's restructuring efforts, will result in
gross margins that are expected to be negative.

Thanx for the post Moony and it's good to hear from you also.

As for 3Com, it didn't make since to rid it's self of USR and continue to compete with them...at least that's the way I've seen it.

3Com has really surprised me by failing so miserably when they were riding the top of the wave. They (Eric) failed to remain competitive and got too comfortable by settling in when they felt they'd had it made, even the Palm portion of the business they screwed up. IMO...they should have used some of the rough riders like Casey and John from USR, but instead they gave them the back seats.

What do you want that 3Com has to offer??? It maybe laying here in a pile of USR-3Com junk I have taking up space.
