that's possible too...which is why i mention those views from time to time. it sure can't be ruled out completely.
from a wave perspective, we may still be in a big picture fifth wave down that hasn't concluded yet.
but sentiment is hardly bullish right now. and there are 2 reasons why i'm giving the new lows scenario less probability: a) the stocks don't signal it and b) the commodity country currencies are strengthening. of course all of those trends could potentially still be reversed, but the contango remains very small too, which discourages forward selling. at the same time, global demand has hit a fresh record in Qu.1.
already the recent spike is generally seen as the usual dead cat bounce...i'm sure there are lots of people waiting to sell the next one already...
