Pick one or the other. If AMD can get .13 performance out of their .18 process, they will likely get .09 performance out of their .13 process - given their early move to SOI, they might get .07 or .08 out of their .13 process. Dan, I don't have to clinch fists, grit teeth or anything else. I will say for the record, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. They aren't "getting 0.13 performance out of their 0.18 process." Are AMD's gate lengths on 0.18 smaller than Intel's. YES. That doesn't mean "they're ahead in process technology." Until you understand that you have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion.
