Ken, there are signs that Eastern Europe is coming back. The Russian stock market performed much better than many stock markets

Same the Austrian market which is a proxy for CEE countries

Also China's Stock market outperformed the western markets

All that indicates to me that there is building a atmosphere of trust into those markets and investments in those economies will follow.

Main beneficiary would be Europe and money will flow toward those type of investments. Further Europe's economy , which is bigger than that of the US will lead in this cycle and money will follow.

On can not argue that the returns in developing countries are far superior to US credit markets (ignoring the risks)
From my banking contacts I get anecdotal evidence that money from overseas is buying it's own debt obligation (tax free of course).

When more trust will build more money will follow --- are we not in sheep territory? .... playing momentum not fundamentals or risk??

For the US economy to participate in those markets, the US dollar will need to slide to make US manufacturers competitive adding to that the huge trade deficit and subdued inflation due to raising dollar the reverse will be inevitable as soon as those countries stabilize.

Personally I see the dollar index range of 105 to 100 as critical.
