I do think its possible gold could explode up from here. Maybe within days, as soon as the game of buying up INTC on lower earnings guidance is over. When everyone decides its time to sell and go on vacation then its down big on the stock market and up with gold.

There is a strong (inverse) correlation with gold prices and the US bonds and notes prices. Watch the bonds for signs of reversing down (interest rates up). Right now they are all testing the declining trendline. If they break to the upside, gold is going down. If bonds fail at resistance then I think gold may get another run.

At this point the only thing that would be more satisfying than watching gold go to $600 would be watching JPM and Goldman go to zero <g>.

good luck
M.
