Why is shorting a bad thing to do?
If stocks are going down why not short them.
You might even save me from shorting something I should not.

Zeev does not short but will offer a suggestion or two, like MU. This is a channeling thread, why not show some in a down channel, with upward resistance targets to short at would be even better.

Re: "shorting stocks is a bad thing to do"

Larry, do you really believe that? I mean, do you think if someone shorts a stock they are a "bad person"??... Trading is trading. What's the difference of selling a long position because you think it's going down or shorting a stock because you think it's going down?, of course it's more risky, if that's what you mean.
