Dan, one thing I hope AMD is doing is looking over the shoulder of these small server manufacturers and advising them of what to do and what not to do. At his stage in the server push, it's critical that the designs be solid and reliable.

I believe AMD is much more involved in the white box market than Intel with educational and marketing programs. Intel figures that the poor ones just won't survive. But, unfortunately, they can do a lot of damage to AMD or Intel's reputation before disappearing.
