Sadly, David Edwards forgot a few trading rules. I am pleased to add to his very excellent list. Never eat pasta while trading; it will drip on your keyboard, obscure a number and you'll find that you're the proud owner of 5,000 shares of a dog and and a sudden margin call. Never listen to CNBC; soon you'll be asking your spouse for their short-term and long-term outlook for CSCO. This will lead to severe marital discord and a nasty call from your mother-in-law followed by a call from a divorce attorney. Never trade with a chimp on your shoulder. I've tried it; it doesn't help. Never trade while engaged in sexual congress. You can get overly excited and in the heat of passion kick your computer. I've tried it and it doesn't help. There are many more rules I've developed over the years of course which I will share with you...but now now; my pasta is almost ready.
