Tom, Using your logic, one shouldn't take any corrective action when your car thermostat is redlining, because it might be a false signal. Wait 'till the engine blows. Now you have proof that there was a problem.

You eventually have to face the fact that even previous skeptics have changed their mind on global warming, and the vast majority of scientists recognize that there is enough data to show that action should now be taken. You will see that even Dubya will change his position 180 degrees once again. Not because he understands global warming, but because the polls show that he will be a one term president, and making believe that he cares about the environment is his only hope for getting re-elected. He will abandon you and the right wing wrongies that are standing firm in the face of scientific evidence.

BTW, do the math on the costs of generating power with the latest wind power units that generate 800 kilowatts each at rates as low as 2.7 cents per kilowatt hour, and compare the costs to your beloved fossil fuels. Remember to consider the after costs of damage from acid rain, CO2 emissions, etc. Also include the heavy subsidies that they get. Your supposed to be a clever engineer, and this should be no problem for you.

Save this message for many years and read it once in a while to humble yourself. In the meantime, I will no longer reply to your posts until you make a public apology for once again resorting to juvenile name calling.
