Companies hardest hit will be those with the greatest exposure to carriers. Direct competitors are CSCO and AVCI, with CSCO being more enterprise-oriented and AVCI completely carrier-focussed. Other telecom cos that are not direct competitors but that have substantial carrier exposure are: RBAK, CIEN, SCMR, CORV, NT, LU, and ONIS. EXTR and FDRY both have a larger enterprise customer base and might be more insulated from carrier weakness.
