Manufacturers can petition all they want, but the government has no choice. A weakening dollar would see an exodus of foreign investment,........ which is all that keeps the current house of cards glued together.

LOL...yes, a pro forma CPI is an idea whose time has come.

the pressure to let the dollar slide will only increase from here, as profit margins are ever harder to come by. but it's not really necessary...we'll get a juicy dollar crisis soon enough.
