NYSE trade halted until 1115 ET

New York, June 8 (BridgeNews) - The NYSE said it is having "system
problems" affecting half of its 2,800 stocks and said the glitch will be
corrected at 1115 ET. Meanwhile, trading on the NYSE appears to have been
halted. Nasdaq stocks are still open for trade, however, and the trend
appears to be lower with profit warnings continuing to weigh. The Dow was
last down 36 to 11,054 and the Nasdaq was down 39 to 2225.
