This isn't really a lock up issue. I am getting it at one particular site all the time since yesterday. I know they were having problems and working on their site yesterday. Now they claim that it is ok but I keep getting a MSHTML.DLL fault. I tried researching and it said something about it being an "imagary rendering" file. My video card is updated and I just began getting this problem yesterday.

hi ken

any feed back from you on the other recommendations/thoughts i provided in my reply to you concerning your resource drain #reply-15905990 ?

namely, "take a look at what you have running in the background"....

"the service pack for win98"....

and, "some browser versions are more efficient than others. i've had great success with ie5.5"

there are probably other things we can suggest too, but it would help to know what you have done and what your responses are to suggestions.

:)

mark

Are you running streaming quotes on your system and/or using a java based program when these lockups occur?
