I would be surprised if reinstalling IE would fix the problem since Netscape doesn't work at that site either. Have you tried going to someone else's computer and logging in?

hi patricia

i'm with ed in that i do not feel your pc has a problem. and i can tell that you pretty much feel the same way.

that said, imo it isn't necessarily correct to assume that another person would have the same problem you are encountering if you were to give out your password and allow someone to check the site. there may be some exotic combination of software and hardware on your machine that is not present on someone else's, and that alone might preclude them from experiencing the same error message.

but if you were to decide to give out the password and username, check to see how easy it is to change your password afterwards to give you peace of mind.

:)

patricia,
Have you tried decreasing the color depth ?
This article mentions it (along with checking your device driver)
support.microsoft.com

This article says that using the tab key may cause problems
support.microsoft.com.

This says that gator software can cause problems
support.microsoft.com.

I realze I'll be in the minority on this but I would try installing ie 5.5 as maybe some program along the way has given you a older version of mshtml that is now causeing some problems. They may have added a new 'feature' to the site which is conflicting with your older dll.

Anyway here is a list of known problems with this dll
generation.net.

Keep us informed :)
