THe AMD/INTC range over the past 2 weeks has been from an AMD price to INTC of -$2.00 to +$4.00...Recent trend has been one of AMD closing the gap...That trend should continue now that it seems apparent that the PC sector has stabilized and that AMD's revenue growth rate exceeds INTC's by a fairly significant percentage... Assuming "glitch" resolution before 1:00, I'd anticipate huge afternoon volume carrying most stocks into the green, INTC and AMD included... Is that "glitch" now resolved??? AMD trading once again...Once the immediate effect of the "glitch hiccup" is digested, look for strengthening in AMD's pricing...Little more consolidation in $30 to $31 range before next runup to $34.50!!!

mfgrep: DOW currently testing 11000 +/-25, setting the stage for the possibility of a major PM rally, once the spillover carnage from the "glitch" is swept up!!! Any significant DOW recovery could carry AMD beyond $31.66 of last night...There remains a gap around $33 of 3 weeks ago that remains to be filled!!!

mfgrep: Looks to me like AMD's current strength is going to lead the way today...General indices, if they follow, may make for a HUGE positive AMD move this PM!!! (The AMD stampede has not yet materialized, but it will...Early signals which we are currently witnessing are large block purchases on the ASK and small purchases on the BID...Sustained days of above average volume will mark the stampede!!!) The ridiculously relative low valuation currently placed upon AMD is no longer invisible to the "big players" who are now accumulating...AMD's $1 billion in profit last year, its projection of increased revenues in Y2001, the most difficult year in recent memory, and the ongoing stream of new leading edge products offering the consumer significant price/performance advatages, dictates a current price higher than $48.50 a year ago...The seeds for the runup are being sewn as I type!!! First target today $31.00, 2nd target $31.66...Should AMD get beyond that today, then next week gets really interesting!!!

mfgrep: Any market snapback (i.e DOW ends the day green) this PM could propel AMD to $33.00 plus settting up a (successful???) test of that near term high of $34.50 next week!!! (AMD currently consolidating between $31.00 and $31.66 setting the stage for a runup to $33.00)...(Again, might get to $33.00 today if general markets cooperate by strengthening this PM!!!
