RE:CNBC-IMO CNBC is a prisoner/prostitute to the whims and wishes of their advertisers-"MER etc" as are analysts to the heads of their respective Investment Banking departments."You want a self serving agenda -"why just get on that phone and order it by calling the head CNBC spin doctor"-after of course the "investment stratigist-"oxymoron" has woven his own agenda in order-(to hype their current dog so to depart the position)- web".

Hi!!

RE: Note, though, that this information is pretty much second hand to me, as I haven't watched CNBC is a long time. I have tired of their yellow journalism approach to the financial markets.

Congratulations for kicking the habit.. :o) No question that you aren't alone...I've mentioned some tid bits to others in the area and many feel "tired" of their hype and especially their gloom and doom with this market...The word "trade" is sometimes the only investment word heard for long periods of time...Frankly, many I talk to thought that long term investment was still part of the market...Their negativity pushes the mentality that doom and gloom is perhaps the only news...What happened to opportunity?

Best, kemble
