Even if the Fed had done nothing, the Nasdaq bubble had grown too thin and far too large for it's own good and was due for a major bursting anyway.... Good old fashion P/E ratios do matter, especially when they get all out of whack to a company's future growth prospects. Hopefully many investors and speculators have learned something from the Nasdaq crash and will from now on only shoot for the moon instead of aiming for the stars!
