Here an excerpt from Charles Glavin. These guys are getting very creative (or smart depending on your point of view). Charlie Glavin, analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, believes the outfit "is offering significant discounts to customers who will take cargo freight instead of air freight. This allows them to stuff about 10 days worth of product into the channel without stuffing shelves, robbing 3Q to make up for 2Q shortfall." This was before the mid-quarter update and I believe Andy said something to the effect that they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary. validea.com Why are these analysts so incredibly sceptical of what Intel says officially which seems to be far more accurate than any of their records?
