of pushouts and cancellations, we now believe that the current industry downturn will be prolonged and we are

10%-20% from Q3 level. To reduce workforce by 12%, on top of the 16% reduction announced in March.

afternoon call that it expects ANAD to lower the bar during their analyst call on Monday.

hehehe... Paul has a fresh batch of doobies for next weeks action as well.. I strongly suggest everyone give it a try! with the market acting like an addict on crack, (and since im very against hard/addictive drugs), the best us responsible/mature adults can do is fire up some mother nature.. SHe will provide you with the 'alternate reality' that puts all of this madness into perspective! but at the same time, keeping you well ahead of the crack heads who are bidding this market up higher.. : )

ok ok.. its been a rough week.. ive been nasty.. but you guys have to give me SOME credit- ive learned not to take my temper tantrums here on Toms thread where I consider everyone my friend.. I just take my aggression to other threads!

JNPR was really a surprise to me.. the timing was incredible tho.. Im not sure how its all goign to play out next week, but one thing is for certain- this was the first true end to the 'buy the bad news' bullcrud thats been going on.. Next week will bring a fresh batch of warnings, and Im betting the semis will once again test that resistance on the downside. Its a shame I was squeezed out of my MU position for a nice fat loss- but I guess sometimes the sure things are the worse place to be when a squeeze is on..

Im here with my beer in hand.. You better show tonight Tom! Friday night is after all a tradition.. Ill be back around midnight when im in the right frame of mind :)

... so the truth is out- Every thread has its bad apple, and I guess I fit that bill! The pothead trader... christ..

$140.7 mln); says that although some customers have asked to delay deliveries and others have cancelled
orders, company has also received additional new orders for its most advanced 300 mm and other single wafer
implanters.

Tom

gladman, this came after the close on Friday, it ain't gonna escape your list.

Alliance Semi (ALSC) 13.35 -0.30: Company warns for Q1 (Jun); sees revenues of $14.9-16.5 mln versus
the current First Call consensus of $24.0 mln; cites very weak demand for DRAM and SRAM, but notes that it
has seen some improvement recently in turns business that could possibly result in a better Q2;

Regards,

Tom
