You are 100% correct.
So let me tell you what I do:
(1) Investor (my IRA, long term stocks, funds)
I went long on April 12, 2001 with stops
(2) Position and/or swing trader (days) I am FLAT.
(3) Day Trader (hours). Trading many times a day and do not post here about those trades.
