I think many of the shorts don't want to be too exposed over the weekend going into Monday's session. If the year end figures demonstrate a definite change of trend and positive bias relative to revenue, then that might be enough to cause a flurry of covering as well as some new money taking interest. I'm looking for a small rally in the last 15 mins, breaking the day's high. IMO

Ram: I think we're more or less in agreement, although I don't consider VLNC's recent trading activity vigorous. More like back to a statistical norm. However, per askresearch.com it's clear volume IS on an upswing, and OBV continues to move strongly to the upside from April lows. And even stochastics are staying in what I consider a positive range.

So VLNC appears to be setting up for the conference call. It's now entering either double top territory or break-out territory. Whether it continues to the upside post conference is, as always, predicated on management. So let's see how it goes.

On another note....anyone have the cajones to try a JNPR trade right now? Heh! I keep looking, but that's all for now....looking. Talk about your negative surprises...
