I don't read at the fool so have no idea what is going on over there. I don't know why it has not been discussed here. Actually, I am surprised at many of the things that aren't discussed here. But that is probably my inability to keep up with everything.

Yes, I would say BEA is a candidate. the leading one. I believe the order to be BEA, IBM, ORCL, SUNW. The latter two seem quite a ways back. MSFT is not in this game, but the CEO of BEA did recently say something to the effect of MSFT's initiatives on the horizon would be complimentary, not competitive. But I haven't read them carefully or thought them out, so take no comfort from my view on that issue.
