Ed,

I sure thought streaming quotes were a bigger drain than that. Right now, I have SI open and Medved QuoteTracker open. When I open Control Panel to check resources, it says I have only 35% free. That seems way to small a number for what little I'm doing. Doesn't it to you?

Streaming quotes provided by Java applets use very little resources.

Right now I have Island Book Viewer and Datek Streamer open and they use about 3% between them

Datek Streamer seems to have been written better than the java program Velocity as the amount of cpu usage by the former is low and the latter is 100% most of the time on my system.
