He "experimented" making his first disc a "Best of Trisha Yearwood" as per Mike's opinion. One of those disc's that is.....If I made the decisons for the recording company, this would be the mix. I don't have a play list down yet, although I just listened to the entire thing. On a side note, he included the song, "The woman before me" as we talked about the disc, trisha and that song on the way home today. He said he would have never even considered that song for the disc, except for my mention of it. That is the only reason he put it on there, not cause he liked it!!! I think that part of his motivation for making this disc, is the concert we have tickets for. Our Emily does not yet realize that we have tickets for the entire family to go. A couple weeks back, Mike showed her two of the tickets, "his and mommies." She wants to go so badly!!! and has no idea we have 6 tickets!!! She helped me out today with some painting, I thanked her and told her if she keeps it up, I might have to give her my Trisha ticket. Her reply was: SHOW ME THE PAINT I called Mike into her room and told him what she had just said, he laughed a knowing laugh, she didn't catch it!!! Her latest single, from the disc by the same name......I was going to post the lyrics, oh well, guess not, it is too new. The disc and song are called...Inside Out amazon.com Listen to it here.....amazon.com Instead, this for Emily......(and the piffer wimmin!!!)"XXX's & OOO's (An American Girl)" Matraca Berg, Alice Randall Phone rings baby cries TV diet guru lies Good morning honey Go to work make up try to keep the balance up Between love and money She used to tie her hair up in ribbons and bows Sign her letters with X's and O's Got a picture of her mama in heels and pearls She's tryin' to make it in her daddy's world She's an American girl An American girl Slow dance second chance mama needs romance And an live-in maid Fix the sink mow the yard really isn't all that hard If you get paidS he used to tie her hair up in ribbons and bows Sign her letters with X's and O's Got a picture of her mama in heels and pearls She's tryin' to make it in her daddy's world She's an American girl An American girl Well she's got her God and she's got good wine Aretha Franklin and Patsy Cline She used to tie her hair up in ribbons and bows Sign her letters with X's and O's Got a picture of her mama in heels and pearls She's tryin' to make it in her daddy's world She's an American girl An American girl She's an American girl
