DAKT is an Earnings Play. marketgems.com Reports June 13 before the market opens, might have some more upside. Not the best day for its beginning "Anticipatory Upswing" but the point is precisely to find those companies that are able to buck the trend and stay above the downside that permeated the market. I don't mind shorting or going long, makes no difference but there are those that like to be on the long side of the market and earnings plays give them precisely that opportunity.

In this case, as is as custom we look for "anticipatory upswing" (or downswing) prior to the report. Wait for the report and see if there are any upgrades/downgrades that would justify even more upside AFTER the report. It is possible to hold THROUGH the report, but it is not recommended since using these strategies you can profit without the risk of HOLDING THROUGH EARNINGS.

I would be cautious on SIRI near-term Dave. Yes I agree the volume today was above avg >(1,088,700) but SIRI opened @ 16.79 and proceeded 2 fall to 14.56 before closing at 14.83 SIRI has been declining in price since 5/17 when it closed @18.34. I would suggest doing your due diligence on SBGI instead IF'n U like that sector ... although I wouldn't get locked into it either ... just simply try & scalp 7 - 10%.
